- Part of Essex County Council’s wider £27 million investment programme to create 1800 new Independent Living homes between 2017 and 2022.
- The scheme was officially opened in June 2017.
- The scheme will provide 24 hour onsite emergency care and planned extra care services to support residents, commissioned by Essex County Council
- Resident facilities include a restaurant and licensed bar to enjoy meals with other residents or guests, mobility buggy charging storeroom, assisted bathing suite, landscaped communal gardens and a communal lounge.
